Bank of America is one of the largest banks in the country, serving over 58 million people! If you’re a customer with BofA, you are eligible for any Bank of America TurboTax discount they offer. Each year the offer changes, which makes it tricky to know if you’re getting a good deal.
The Bank of America Turbotax discount used to be around 20-30%, but they’ve discontinued this. For this year (2018) the coupon has no longer been made available, but you can still save 20-30% with our exclusive coupon. (You should see the original price crossed out (
like this) and the $20 discount taken if you’ve clicked and applied the coupon.)
I don’t know if it’s because Bank of America is too big to deal with small coupons or what! All I know is that TurboTax has partnered with smaller blogs like ours to provide exclusive promotions and deals regardless of where you bank!
$20 TurboTax Discount *** Updated 1/13/18 ***
Bank of America Service Code Issues
In the past, local branches may have offered a Turbotax service code for Bank of America members. The problem with these offers is that each year it may expire, leaving you with outdated or non-existent deals.
If you have been provided with a Turbotax service code, but it’s not registering like it should, consider using the $20 deal we have. It does not matter where you bank; you can still access the same discount: Get $20 Off TurboTax
A Better Discount on Turbotax
Be careful when you see smaller percentage coupons for Turbotax. For example, a lot of banks will provide a 10% discount for Turbotax, which may amount to $3 or $5 depending on which version of Turbotax you’re using.
Don’t be fooled! You can do simple math! If you’re given a $20 coupon for Turbotax and end up decreasing the Deluxe version from $59 to $39, you’ve just saved 34%! This puts the entire discount in your pocket and not in the banks!
Many other banks such as Chase, Fidelity and Vanguard have offered Turbotax discounts in the past. Even AAA members may get a discount depending on where they live (it’s not available in every region).
I think the trend has shifted from the big banks to the smaller financial blogs in terms of promotions. Either way, you still benefit from the same, better discount by applying the $20 coupon this year.
